It’s about where and how it entered the system.
Example from my career
Earlier in my career, I brought forward a well-supported recommendation in a formal meeting.
It went nowhere.
Later, I realized the key stakeholders hadn’t been engaged beforehand.
The idea wasn’t rejected — it simply had no pathway to move forward.
